A thread lift consists of a non-surgical minimally invasive facial reshaping with stimulation of collagen production. It uses double-sided absorbable sutures with the suspension of two-way micro-cones, made, like the suture material, of polylactic acid, PLA.

The essence of the threadlift method consists in the implantation of bioabsorbable threads into the dermis and/or the subcutaneous layer, which has a double effect: tissue sagging is eliminated, a support network is formed (lifting effect), the facial middle zonecontour are simultaneously changed and fibroblasts are stimulated for the gradual generation of skin collagen.

Facial Threads

PDO threads

Polydioxanone monofilament sutures or PDO facial threads are naturally resorbed at 6-8 months by hydrolysis. There are the smooth, and the support threads and results typically last up to 2 years.

  1. The smooth stimulating threads are introduced into the skin at the subdermal level, generating a biological response of neocolagenosis and remodeling of the connective tissue, redensifying and rejuvenating the skin.
  2. The spiculated support threads are practiced in an intradermal plane to generate an immediate lifting effect. They are indicated on the face to raise the eyebrows, cheeks and attenuate the nasolabial folds.

Threads are non-toxic, pyrogen-free, and safe. They can be used on all facial areas, especially on cheeks, eyebrows, nasolabial folds and to redefine the face oval and also on the back of the hands.

NOVAthreads

These threads are manufactured of biocompatible DOP material for safe absorption by the bodywork for 4 to 6 months and then slowly disappear. The effect of their application in strategically important places on the face, for example, in the corners of the mouth or eyebrows, is due to the constant infusion of collagen and lasts about 2 years.

This threadlift method for tightening and regenerating the face skin at the PURE medical aesthetics clinic is perfectly complemented by other procedures and methods, such as fillers and Botox.
