CO2 Laser Resurfacing

CO2 laser resurfacing offers a solution to aging signs, skin texture issues, and various skin conditions. This non-invasive, surgery-free method delivers results by eliminating the topmost skin layer, replaced with fresh, healthy cells. CO2 laser resurfacing enhances skin tone, reduces wrinkles, and provides a smoother complexion.

Known as laser resurfacing, fractional laser skin treatment removes damaged surface tissue and increases collagen production. CO2 excels at replacing damaged cells with new ones, heals scars and other skin issues.

The carbon dioxide laser is perfect for addressing a range of skin conditions. With the CO2 laser, we target various skin concerns, including sun damage, skin aging, scars, acne scarring, lines, wrinkles, skin laxity, under-eye creases, and crepey skin.

Post-CO2 Laser Expectations

In the immediate aftermath, your skin will look like a significant sunburn. Some swelling, especially around the delicate eye area, may also occur. As your skin heals, the redness will dissipate, and you may experience some shedding of skin. We will provide you with written instructions and an aftercare kit to support an easy recovery and ensure the best possible results.

As you heal  you’ll notice the effects on your skin—improved smoothness, even skin tone, and reduced wrinkles and fine lines. Your skin will appear rejuvenated, with a plumper, more youthful look.

Sculptra is used to correct shallow to deep wrinkles and folds on the face. Administered with the appropriate injection technique from a trained specialist, Sculptra is clinically approved for:

  • Deep folds between the nose and mouth (nasolabial folds), also called “smile lines”
  • Lines framing the mouth (marionette lines)
  • Chin wrinkles

Sculptra is an injectable biostimulator made of of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). Sculptra has a liquid consistency and is injected underneath the skin. Once injected, Sculptra incorporates into the tissues and stimulates your body’s natural production of collagen.

On average, a series of three treatment sessions over the course of a few months may be needed. The number of injections at each session will vary, depending on the degree of correction needed and the treatment plan determined by you and your specialist.

Sculptra is designed to give you noticeable results that emerge gradually and can last up to two years.*Don’t be disappointed if you don’t see immediate results. A few days after treatment, you may look as you did before treatment. This is normal and temporary. The Sculptra regimen delivers its full effects with an average of three treatment sessions over the course of a few months. Because results happen gradually, you’ll see subtle, yet noticeable, results in the reduction of facial wrinkles and folds by comparing images before treatment and a couple months following treatment.
