Microneedling

Microneedling can fade scars, uneven skin tone, fine lines, and more.

FAQ

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that is used to stimulate new collagen. The treatment can help smooth, firm, and tone skin, and improve the appearance of scars, acne, and wrinkles.

Microneedling can improve:

  • Scars and acne scars
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Enlarged pores
  • Hyperpigmentation, or dark spots
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Skin elasticity
  • Stretch marks
  • Hair growth

During the procedure, your provider will make small punctures under the skin using a pen-like tool with tiny needles. The pricks are very minimal.

Microneedling procedures are not painful, but they can be uncomfortable. However we will do all that we can to take you as comfortable as possible.

You may see some irritation and redness within the first few days, after the treatment. This is a normal response to the small “injuries” made by the needles.

You can go back to normal activities, but it’s best to allow your skin to recover before you apply makeup. Additionally, your skin will be more sun-sensitive, so be sure to apply sunscreen.
